This is the season of Change for the good of God’s perfect will.  It is time to get rid of SELF, the negative thoughts, wrong people and habits we have been accustomed to.  It is time to stop and just simply change our mindset, our view and get back to the basics so God can get all the Glory!  I am so excited about the new me and we should all get excited and celebrate the new us together because 2 Corinthians 5:17 says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Women! There is a piercing cry from deep down within you who desires to change so many things about yourself, but the manipulation of “limited time” and the comfort of where you are currently consumes and controls you.  A better name for it is Satan.  As soon as you discover who you truly are outside of being a mother and someone’s wife, sister, and confidant, the devil’s kingdom will be in trouble.  We have to CHANGE that mindset! Hush up the whining and blaming and gird up your loins with the word of God.

When you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior and became new a mandate was put on all the old things to pass away so you can accept the new things God has for you. You also accepted the affliction that come along with the walk.  However the Bible says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17).”

Please focus on the word moment in the scripture.  A moment means a season, a second, an instant or a flash. But sometimes it is us who holds on to the things that keep us in bondage longer than necessary which then turns into months and years off our life, such as bitterness, forgiveness, forgetting, rejection, and low self-esteem.

These issues become a ball and chain around our ankles which keeps us stagnant and drowning in quicksand – all keeping us from moving closer to God and fulfilling the purpose in our life. Drop the chains and release the pain.  The worst amongst our women is jealousy, and unfortunately as a result we have a generation of young women who follow with these issues to the fifth power.

Let’s talk about that relentless spirit jealousy.  Jealousy is a wedge or block that keeps us as women from coming together being a united front and the enemy is very knowledgeable of that.  So he continues to create this false competition that does not exist because we were all made with different fingerprints and DNA and we are all wonderfully and fearfully made by God.

If we can just be happy in who we are in Christ, it will be easier to embrace the next sister, let alone give her a compliment with out hating on her or wanting what she has. 

You see, we as women may desire what the next woman has, but by having the envy in our heart clearly displays that we are not qualified to obtain or maintain what God has given her.  It is easier to celebrate her in her season and know that your season is coming, however in order to embrace that we must first know who we are in Christ. Get back to your first love (Jesus)! 

Someone has to stand up and CHANGE so our young women will have hope and a chance.
God is calling on new troops who can tighten up the boots and pour some alcohol on the wounds without murmuring and complaining. We must take a stand and move into our rightful position as He called knowing that He will empower and back us. We must change our mindset to one of authority. In Romans 12:2, is says And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

God desires to gives us a new walk, a new talk, a new love for His people, a new mindset, new joy, new peace, new revelation, new friends (sent by Him),  and a new perspective.  But only if we let go and believe Him at His word!

It is time for our minds to get inline like a man does. When a man wants something he stays focused and he is not distracted, diverted, preoccupied, or anxious. They have tunnel vision, a straight passageway on the goal set before them.  It is time to sound the alarm, and get focus, get back to us, get back to our first love (Jesus) and be who God already said we were-Conquerors and, mighty in Him! 

Ladies it is our season to reap the harvest of our pain, suffering, tears, setbacks, diversions, time lapse, fears, manipulation of the enemy, mind spells and the quicksand pits we were drowning in.  The Bible says, “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).  Today I am speaking as a body of Christ; we can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens us!  
New life comes when we surrender ourselves. Belief clings, but faith lets go.

It is time to celebrate, not just on Mother’s Day, but everyday that God so graciously gives us life and life more abundantly.  I dare you to unleash the treasure within you, each one of you holds something God intends for you to use to fulfill His purpose for your life. I dare you to CHANGE for the glory of God!
